Danny Greenberg Children & Teens Bio

Danny Greenberg is a proud alumnus of the Boston Conservatory where he graduated with honors. At the Conservatory he received a BFA in Musical Theater with an emphasis in songwriting, directing, and repertoire. At the Conservatory Danny was fortunate to be mentored by Mary Saunders, long time chair of voice and the longest tenured teacher at the nation's older conservatory. Since graduating he has had a multitude of professional experiences as an actor and as songwriter, primarily focusing on the latter. His first album has been featured on over 50 radio stations across the US and Canada, on stations such as New York's WFUV and nationally on NPR. While songwriting has been Danny's primary artistic outlet, professionally he has had the privilege to give back through teaching. Through a decade of teaching Danny has taught both group classes and private lessons in acting, singing, tap dancing, song interpretation, songwriting, and guitar along with many years of directing and music directing experience. His students have been seen in Broadway shows, regional productions, national tours, television, and feature films. Since 2016 alone Danny has had nearly 20 students book over a total of 30 shows, tours, & or feature films. Although many of Danny's students have gone on to have professional success he loves working with students of all levels and goals. Helping children reach a better understanding of technique and discipline, coupled with a deeper understanding of humanity through critical thinking and empathy is what drives Danny as an educator. Working with children and teens, at a time when they are most plastic, can have the greatest long-term effects and growths for individuals and in turn communities.
