Class Descriptions

Tap

Aaron’s classes are based in rhythm tap. He has designed his classes to give the students the technique and tools necessary to grow as dancers and musicians. His philosophy is that each student can grow to understand and execute tap with practice and a clear breakdown of steps, which he incorporates in class. He begins with a rhythmic warm up to engage the students and properly prepare them for class. Rudiment and technique exercises, along with acrossthefloor combinations will further the students’ understanding for proper execution of tap vocabulary. He likes to end class with a combination set to music to add that next level of musicality and performance. Aaron’s classes are rhythmic, technical, athletic and of course fun. He strives to push students to a new level of understanding and appreciation for the art of tap dance. A simple strategy Aaron conveys to all students is, “If you can say it, you can do it.”
