Malia Baker is a professional dancer, choreographer and teacher originally Colorado. After moving to Los Angeles at the age of eighteen, Malia started working professionally and performing in commercials, television shows, movies and live performance for snetworks and brands including NBC, Disney, Hermes, Capital One, and Don Julio. Class Descriptions

Jazz

Malia’s class is a high energy jazz class with a long warm up, across the floor followed by a short combination. Malia’s goal in class is to help find connection to your body and to your confidence. The 30+ minute warmup is physiotherapy based and will activate and strengthen your whole body to get you ready for movement. Across the floor to get you traveling, smiling and get the brain engaged with combinations designed to test your direction changes, musicality and weight transfers. Class ends with learning a combination with time to observe other dancers, apply performance and try new approaches to executing choreography. Malia believes that class should be a place to push yourself, meet fellow members of your community and share the JOY of dance!
