Tiler Peck is an award-winning principal Dancer with the New York City Ballet, an actress, choreographer, and designer. She launched and starred in the Los Angeles Music Center’s presentation of BalletNOW, part of the Glorya Kaufman Presents Dance At The Music Center program. Tiler also starred in the Hulu feature documentary, Ballet Now from Paul Allen’s Vulcan Productions with executive producer, Elisabeth Moss, and director, Steven Cantor. She recently had the honor of choreographing John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum.
At the age of 14, Ms. Peck entered the School of American Ballet, the official school of New York City Ballet, full time. The same year, she became an apprentice with the New York City Ballet and in a few months was asked to join the Company as a member of the corps de ballet. Tiler was promoted to Soloist in 2006 and to Principal Dancer in 2009 where she remains to this day.
Tiler developed and produces a daily ballet class, #TurnItOutWithTiler, initially aimed at helping people stay connected and moving during the COVID-19 pandemic. The show attracted the attention of ballet enthusiasts like Jennifer Garner, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kelly Ripa, Jennifer Nettles, Leslie Odom Jr., Josh Groban, and more who all recently guested on the show.
Additional credits include: The Music Man, On The Town, New York Philharmonic’s Live From Lincoln Center production of Carousel, Susan Stroman’s Little Dancer, Ray Donovan, opposite of Liev Shreiber, the Netflix series Tiny Pretty Things, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Dancing with The Stars, Bravo’s Rocco’s Dinner Party, Julie Andrews’ Netflix series, Julie's Greenroom, a starring role in the film Ballet 422, and performances for President Obama at the 2012 and 2014 Kennedy Center Honors.
Accolades include: Mae L. Wien Award (2004), Janice Levin Honoree (2006-2007), Leonide Massine’s Positano Premia La Danza for International Emerging Artists, Princess Grace Foundation- USA Dance Fellowship (2004). Forbes 30 under 30 in Hollywood Entertainment (2013) Princess Grace Statue Award, Dance Magazine Award (2016).
Ms. Peck is the designer of Tiler Peck Designs for Body Wrappers, and her first children’s book, Katarina Ballerina, was published in May 2020.
