Our Semester Program is a 4-month program offered in the Spring and Fall for dancers looking for a shorter time commitment while still recieving excellent dance training. In addition to working on technique each week, our dedicated Faculty strive to nurture and develop a young dancer's creative side.

  • Fall Semester: September 16, 2024-January 19, 2025

SEMESTER PROGRAM CURRICULUM

Dancers must be 3 by September 16, 2024

Ballet/Tap introduces rhythm and musicality, elementary ballet and tap skills, weight shifting, and imaginative movements.

All Semester Program classes do not participate in Showcase.

Dancers must be 5 by December 31, 2024

Ballet/Tap builds upon rhythm and musicality, elementary to intermediate ballet and tap skills, weight shifting, and imaginative movements.

Hip-Hop is a fusion dance genre that combines a variety of freestyle movements. This class will introduce rhythm and musicality to fun, upbeat music.

Jazz incorporates foundations of proper body alignment, technique, flexibility and classic jazz dance vocabulary with an upbeat rhythm-based style.

All Semester Program classes do not participate in Showcase.

Dancers must be 7 by December 31, 2024

Dancers must be 9 by December 31, 2024

Hip-Hop is a fusion dance genre that combines a variety of freestyle movements. Class work consists of a cardio and strength building warm-up, stretching and developing a vocabulary of steps and combinations.

Dancers must be 12 by December 31, 2024

Ballet focuses on the foundations of proper body alignment, technique, and vocabulary. In this class dancers develop flexibility, coordination, and confidence.

Jazz incorporates foundations of proper body alignment, technique, flexibility and classic jazz dance vocabulary with an upbeat rhythm-based style.

All payments will be set to Autobill on the first of each month. If you are paying via installments, your first payment will be Due upon registration.

  • Fall Payment Cycle (after first payment): October-December 2024
  • Spring Payment Cycle (after first payment): February-May, 2025

REFUND POLICY

If your dancer drops after the drop deadlines (please see below), you will be charged for the following month's tuition. You must notify the CTP staff IN WRITING via email at [email protected] (W45) or [email protected] (W65). If no written notification is given when dropping classes, YOU WILL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ENTIRE TUITION PAYMENT.

SEMESTER PROGRAM DROP DEADLINES

  • Fall Semester: October 14, 2024. No refunds, for any reason, will be given after this date.
  • Spring Semester: February 16, 2025. No refunds, for any reason, will be given after this date. 

LATE FEES

If tuition payments are not received by the 15th of the month, a $40 late fee will be added to your account balance.

REGISTRATION FEES

There is a $50 non-refundable registration fee for all NEW students.

CLASS SIZE

The average class size has 15 students. We must have a minimum of 6 registered students in order to hold a class.

ATTENDANCE POLICY

  • Students are allowed a total of 2 absences for the semester.
  • If more than 2 absences occur during the semester, you may be asked to withdraw from the program.
  • Absences include school testing, religious commitments, illness, family events, etc. If your child has a planned absence, written documentation must be emailed to [email protected] (W65) prior to the event.
  • For their safety, your child will not be able to participate in class if they arrive more than 10 minutes late for an hour class. They must observe the class and take notes. This will be strictly enforced.

MAKE-UP CLASS POLICY

Students are entitled to one make-up class for the semester. Parent/Guardian must email [email protected] to coordinate a make-up class. All make-up classes must be scheduled within two weeks of the missed class and be in the same genre and level of dance as the original class. 

TRIAL CLASS POLICY

Are you trying to decide which class to register for? If you are still undecided, we invite you to participate in a trial class! Come try a class of your choice for a fee of $35. If you decide to then register for that class, your trial fee will be deducted from your tuition!

  • No trial classes will be permitted after October 14, 2024 for Fall Semester classes, and February 16, 2025 for Spring Semester classes. 

PARENT OBSERVATION

We invite parents/guardians to join us the last week of the semester to observe their dancer's classes.

Outside of parent observation week, observers are only permitted to watch from our monitors in the lobby. This allows us to create an environment where our students can concentrate without distraction. Should you have any questions regarding your child's class or training, you may always email or call us.
