Olivia Hutcherson has taken the dance world by storm over the last decade. Born and raised in Atlanta, GA she began training and competing at the young age of 7 all over the country in Competitive Championship Latin Ballroom Dancing. By the age of 16 she had already won five National Gold Medals in addition to attending Dekalb School of the Arts where she studied Ballet, Modern, Jazz, African, Hip-Hop, Music, and Theater. Shortly after graduating, Olivia decided to further pursue her dreams by training in New York City and then heading out to California for a new and exciting journey.
With a determined spirit and relentless work ethic she soon found herself teaching and performing for the NFL as a San Francisco 49ers Gold Rush Cheerleader, Top 30 Finalist on So You Think You Can Dance (S8), she was featured in Esquire and "Just Dance" PS3 Commercial. In 2012 she decided to move back to New York. Since then she has danced for artists such as: JLO, Madonna, Flo Rida, New Cupid, Sean Kingston, and Brad Paisley. She has also been featured on Good Morning America, The Today Show, Dr. Oz., 106 & Park, Yahoo, and Telemundo.
Her biggest accomplishment to date though happened on her 26th birthday in June of 2015. Olivia was suddenly diagnosed with aggressive Breast Cancer. She underwent numerous surgeries and chemotherapy. Throughout her challenging journey she continued to dance, teach, perform, write, conduct interviews, and graduate on time from MSU with a Major in Communication and Media, and Minor in Musical Theater.
“Faith and Art have always healed me back to home and now it is time to pay it forward.”
