Sarah Esty

A former soloist with the Miami City Ballet, Ms. Sarah Esty has performed various works by Balanchine, Robbins, Tharp, Wheeldon, Taylor, Scarlett, Ratmansky, and Peck. Sara is a recipient of a Princess Grace Fellowship Award for excellence in dance. She trained at the Maine State School for the Performing Arts, the School of American Ballet, and the Miami City Ballet School. In 2014, Sara began her professional theatrical career in American in Paris on Broadway (Lise alternate), and led its first national tour as Lise Dassin. Other theater credits include Christopher Wheeldon’s Brigadoon (Jean, NY City Center Gala), The Beast in the Jungle (Directed by Susan Stroman), Grand Hotel (NY City Center Encores!), and most recently A Chorus Line (Maggie u/s Cassie, NY City Center’s 75th anniversary gala). TV/Film credits include The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and the upcoming Fosse/Verdon mini series.
